Nocveil
A downloadable game for Windows
Welcome to my game Nocveil!
The game takes inspiration from old 6th generation console games that place an emphasis on exploration, platforming, and puzzle solving. Even with it's small world and simplistic gameplay, hopefully it will still capture a bit of the classic adventurous feeling these games gave us so many years ago.
This game has different environments to discover and explore, along with the trials and foes that may lurk there.
If you give it a download, feel free to tell me any thoughts you have, what you liked, what you would change, or how I can make it better. This game will be receiving updates as feedback is gathered; and thanks a ton for checking it out.

Really cool game/proof of concept! Just finished playing it in one sitting, and while it was rough around the edges in places, I really enjoyed it. In particular, it was very easy to jump out of bounds on most levels, and the Volcano level in particular was really glitchy (extra keys would spawn, or not enough keys. the lift that goes through the lava wouldn't always spawn or would start moving without me). I wasn't sure what the point in levelling up the attack was, but seemed like a nice touch. So, lots of little things here and there but overall quite fun to play. Would be interested in coming back to it if it's still getting worked on/polished. ^_^
Hey thanks for trying it out and leaving a comment! Yeah, this game is a bit rough. It could use a lot of love. It was one of my earliest projects that I spent a lot of time on, but eventually put it on hold to try some new things. I've improved a lot since then and once I finish up some of my current projects I'd love to come back to this and breathe some new life into it and make it what I always intended it to be. As you said, "proof of concept" is probably a good way to describe it but still glad you maybe got a little enjoyment out of it :)
If that game have something like fruit then im in
