Chasing Tail Update 3.9!
It's been a while. What happened to the 3.8 devlog... who knows, but we're on 3.9 now. New features include whatever I was supposed to put in the notes from the 3.8 update, but I've done a couple small bug fixes. Some with dialogue that you probably won't notice, but the most notable change is how the love interest is calculated. I put a much higher emphasis on the dates now so they play a bigger part in who you end up with. Dialogue choices and clothing will still also affect the decision, but I feel now the final choice will be more accurately represented.
I left the 3.8 files available for download here too just in case somehow I incorporated a game breaking bug into the game, because it's been a while since I've updated this game and don't remember everything that's been changed since the last one. I did give it a test run a few times to make sure it works, but better safe than sorry.

I was just thinking. Could be nice if we could talk with people that we find in the map and maybe... call them to hangout in the deeps of the city. =^.~=
and maybe be able to check the affection you have in the game while playing it!
I am curious in the Kase 1st date. The second option to choose what to do. The second option of it give two affection point to Corsica and the 1st option give nothing to Kase when we enconrage his other talents, is that right?
Late reply, sorry x3 But YES! it would be cool if you could talk to the people in the city :D it'd also be cool if I had more sprites so I could replace some of the ones that are all black x3 Ideas for maybe future updates to the game. While creating the next VN, I've been doing small little updates to other projects as well and I'd love to give this game some more love and polish too.
And wow you just found a major error in this scene. Going to have to make a new build of the game and fix this. When you encourage his other talents, it completely skips a piece of dialogue that should be in the game, and if you compliment his strength, you're right, it gives points to Corsica but it should be giving those points to Kase. You are correct but that's not how it should work. Thank you for bringing that up x3 need to fix this asap! D:
I was trying to figure out how many affection points I could get from each part along the story. I can say I've played from the start until the end of the 10 chapter dozen and dozen times and choose the negative option ending the story only to check how many affection I could get or lose in each part of it.
I just took a break from it to not get... to not play so many times that could break my brain. lol and that I can't do that magic but I be a entire day doing it. Lol... I could hope at least to dream with some of the character from the story as I dreamed with the bear from Morenatsu years ago. Heheh
I was still trying to get the Kase end. Kase stop me and talk with me before they kidnap me but in the end he do not show to say that love me. I just end alone. Not sure if that I miss something or another bug?
I got the raptor(? I forgot the specie) end and the end ... not end but scene with they both. I loved most of it more that the alone Drackey scene. I loved the raptor scene too.
and better I go sleep hehe just morning here.

Something told me I should check on Chasing Tail when I was lounging around Saturday, when I didn't expect anything, and lo and behold! I need to listen to my instincts more often! ;D
I miss Skalan and the group quite a bit so I decided to give the game another visit last night, and it was like coming home again! I hope Chasing Shadows is the same way. Maybe I should wait till C.S. is finished and play them back to back, but we'll see if I can hold off that long. ;P
